Cherry Blossoms

I think it’s customary now that each year I do shoot in front of a beautiful blossom tree or two – last year I was lucky enough to do it in Japan – and last week, whilst on my hen weekend (or bachelorette), I had the chance to pose in front of the eiffel tower, shrouded by a pink tree.

We spent the first first day of our weekend in Paris walking and eating. Literally. After filling up on croque monsieur and frites at Angelina, we filled our bags with cakes and pastries for a mini picnic by the iconic tower. Walking around Paris with my camera is one of my favourite things to do (after eating, of course), and our stroll through the city couldn’t have been more perfect. We stopped at just about every patisserie we saw.

Then after turning just the right corner, the Eiffel Tower came into view, to a chorus of “oooooooooh”, and the sound of the iPhone camera clicking. We found a spot near the cherry blossom tree to sit and eat our sugary treats, followed by a few snaps, as there was no way I was letting this backdrop go without an #ootd.

High on sugar, we walked back across the city to our apartment, but more on that soon! x
